Toxic Waste
A container marked Toxic Waste is put in the middle of an exclusion zone. Using a limited range of equipment the team have to lift the container and place it in a 'safe' zone. Of course no one can enter the exclusion zone and time is against them. Depending on the complexity and the equipment used this can be a great task for 10 people and with appropriate reviews can develop communication, team work and leadership. Colour Blind
Colour Blind is a team problem solving activity. It can be bought as a kit. The team is blindfolded and given a set of shapes with 2 of the set removed. By logical reasoning, communication and teamwork, the team have to work with some simple constraints to identify the shape and colour of the missing pieces.
Farmers
Farmers is a problem solving puzzle that is solved by simple logic and
maths. Information is given about various aspects of the farmers lives
however who the information relates to has to be worked out. By spreading
the information amongst a team and stating that the information can only
be shared verbally and that no writing materials or calculating instruments
may be used, it is turned into a great team building exercise. Typically
it takes about 30 minutes and gets a great result for the team.

Zin Obelisk
Zin Obelisk is a problem solving puzzle that is solved by simple logic
and maths. Information is given about the size of an obelisk and the blocks
that can be used to build it. Further information is given about how many
people may build it and how quickly they work and then the puzzle is to
find out how long it will take them. By spreading the information amongst
a team and stating that the information can only be shared verbally and
that no writing materials or calculating instruments may be used, it is
turned into a great team building exercise. Typically it takes about 20
minutes and gets a great result for the team.
